Yesterday my brother Daniel had his 6th birthday party and it was jungle themed. Of course, we had to do the cake for it. Here is our fat and lazy crocodile who was envisioned as not so lazy, but you make-do with what the cake gods give you.
Ammon has a new look. At first he looked alot like Jack from Lost...much to my approval...but now his beard is pretty full and Jack is pretty much, well...Lost, but I still like my bearded man.
We spent last Saturday at the Oregon Coast and had a blast. We dropped Emmie off at Grandma's for the day and spent hours hiking around tidepools, uncovering crabs, napping on the beach, playing in the sand, and of course eating seafood and pizza ( not together, don't worry). It was tons of fun and we plan on going back often. It was so theraputic and much needed. We plan on taking Ems next time.
We also built our first beach house!! Architecture by Ammon, Landscaping by Heather!
Emmalyn is so fun and has soo much personality, I couldn't put up a new post and not put in a picture of her.

We are so jealous you got to go to the beach, it's so beautiful... A lot different from our wheat fields! Actually we had some friends who went to the Oregon Coast for vacation and actually ended up going to a cooking school... We thought of you guys, we should totally do that some time.
